Natural Product Disclaimer:
Reclaimed wood is a natural product and may contain certain aged characteristics, including but not limited to: color variation, nail holes, mortise holes, insect holes, livestock cribbing (chewing), staining, tapering, wane (nit squared), etc
Natural wood products often exhibit certain inherent inconsistencies. The product you are purchasing may be subject to conditions such as natural color variation, grain structure, porosity, etc. Due to the minerals in the earth, all wood species will contain color variations in spite of the selection chosen.
Wood, like all natural materials, has differences in color and grain patterns. This may cause a product to look somewhat different than the one displayed on the website.
Hippie Girl Collection is not responsible for replacing products that are not cared for properly. You can find our board and wood care instructions below.

Graphics/Artwork Disclaimer:
All graphics are original photos of the original products made in-house. Different digital displays may distort or otherwise display product attributes like color differently on individual screens than they may look in person. If you have questions regarding the color of a product before purchasing it, please contact us and we'll be happy to help!
HGC produces and prints jobs for you per the files, specifications, and instructions which you provide. While we will bring to your attention any errors that we notice, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR APPROVAL OF PROOFS, PROOF READING, AND ERRORS. Please be sure to doublecheck spelling, grammar, layout, and design before approving artwork. If we produce work that has been approved or provided and contains errors after production, then you are responsible for full production costs (setup charges, printing, and materials), as well as the cost for producing the work a second time, if you request us to do so. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR 100% OF APPROVALS AND COPYRIGHTED, TRADEMARKED, AND LICENSED AGREEMENTS OF ARTWORK. Your email approval or signature of said artwork is contractually binding for payment for all services HGC renders. All artwork which is provided will be printed as is, unless it is brought to our attention to make changes beforehand. All artwork we design must be approved by you before a job can enter into production.
Custom engraving your logo requires a skilled artisan. If your artwork is not production ready, a one-time charge may apply. The fee to prepare your artwork is $30. All artwork is archived for future orders and can be accessed by the artisan without incurring additional fees. This charge does not apply to our stock artwork already prepared by our artisans.
If your artwork is low resolution (less than 300 dpi), or copied an image from your company’s website, we can redesign your low-resolution image for you at a fee of $60 per hour.
Artwork that is not camera ready will be considered as is and subject to an art charge and/or the one-time setup fee. We reserve the right to determine what is camera ready artwork.
There is a $30 drawing fee that begins at every custom order.

Quotes and Estimates:
A quote/estimate will be provided after HGC receives $30 drawing/set-up/working fee. We can not give an accurate quote without drawing and/or producing a sample. An electronic drawing and, sometimes, a hard sample are necessary to give you the most accurate quote that we can. Quotes and estimates are just that; an ESTIMATE. Upon approval, you will receive an invoice. The invoice will reflect the actual cost of your job, set up fees, sample fees, drawing fees, shipping fees, etc. Production of ANY KIND will not begin until invoice is PAID IN FULL. For example, $30 fee is to take your art, put it in our system, make modifications, measurements, etc. for your "idea" to "make sense." Then, we present your idea to you in a drawing and/or a manufactured product.

Board care:
Wash your cutting board with soap and warm water and scrub well.
If your board has stains or smells, you can use lemon juice or white vinegar directly on the area.
Once your cutting board is thoroughly dry, apply the oil directly onto the surface of the board. Be generous with the application, especially if the wood is dry or you just purchased the cutting board or butcher block. You want the surface to be dripping wet on all sides and we recommend using a small bar towel or new paint brush to spread the oil (try not to soak up the oil), as using your hands may lead to accidental splinters. Most importantly, let the oil soak into the cutting board for as long as possible; at least a few hours or overnight if possible.
To apply board cream, wait until the board is dry after washing or oiling, then apply a small amount of cream onto the board. Using a soft cloth, buff the cream/wax into the wood in a circular pattern, forming a thin coat. Repeat over the entire surface of the board and especially the sides. It's not necessary to let the wax soak into the board.
We recommended you oil your cutting board every month or when dry to the touch. Board cream should be applied at the same time as oiling.

Outside Sign Care:
Clean off sign with gentle soap and water, removing all dust and particles from your sign. Apply a thin coat of outdoor, clear polyacrylic. If chipping has started, use a 150 grit or more sand paper and gently sand away loose coating. Apply thin layer of the polyacrylic. If 2 coats are needed, apply. We recommend this maintenance on your sign every 2-3 years depending on sun exposure and other outdoor elements directly on your sign.
